Three months have elapsed since a viral epidemic decimated 99.9% of the global population, transforming the infected into ravenous undead. In the UK, a group of soldiers and civilians have found shelter in a remote military barracks. Life in this new reality is harsh and unforgiving, but a glimmer of hope emerges when they receive a high-level communication from a coastal military base, promising refuge elsewhere in Europe. However, just as rescue seems within reach, the barracks are overrun by the undead. The remaining soldiers and civilians must now embark on a journey to the coast to uncover the truth behind the message. Their dangerous trek leads them through a perilous, death-stricken landscape, where the undead are numerous and roving bandits enforce their own cruel version of law and order. What ensues is a descent into chaos and a desperate struggle against overwhelming odds for the survival of humanity.
