Set in 1920s Vienna, this film follows a young girl named Mary who receives a magical nutcracker from her Uncle Albert, played by Nathan Lane. As the nutcracker comes to life, Mary is drawn into a fantastical adventure to save an enchanted kingdom from the tyrannical rule of the Rat King, portrayed by John Turturro. Directed by Andrey Konchalovskiy, the movie features a blend of live-action and CGI to bring the classic tale to life. Despite its ambitious visual style, the film did not receive any major awards.
