The initial episode, “Mamanyiika,” cleverly combines the words “mama” and “manyika,” translating to “mother doll,” and revolves around the narrative of a doll that becomes possessed. The second episode unfolds the story of three girls, one of whom becomes the object of desire for a fearsome engkanto, leading to her abduction. The third tale, “Punerarya,” follows a tutor who is hired to educate the children of ghoul-like business owners running a funeral home.
