What Would You Do?
An American TV news magazine and undercover camera program features actors enacting scenarios of conflict or unlawful behavior in public spaces, with hidden cameras capturing the events. The show examines whether and how onlookers choose to intervene. It often includes variations, such as altering the actors’ genders, races, or attire, to observe if these changes affect bystander responses. At the conclusion, Quiñones interviews the witnesses about their reactions. Throughout the experiment, psychology professors, educators, or club members join Quiñones to view and discuss the footage, offering explanations and insights into the bystanders’ behavior.
