The Heroic Legend of Arslan

Arslan, the future ruler of Pars, a powerful kingdom strategically located on the trade route linking the East and West, faces a daunting challenge when the pagan nation of Lusitania launches an invasion. As a reserved and inexperienced young man, Arslan encounters the horrors of war for the first time. His fears come true when the Parsian forces are deceived by a Lusitanian ruse and suffer a crushing defeat. Arslan narrowly escapes death, saved by the unwavering and devoted warrior Daryun.
