Overlord

In the year 2138, virtual reality gaming is at its peak. One day, Yggdrasil, a well-loved online game, is discreetly closed. Yet, a player named Momonga chooses to remain logged in. As a result, he is transformed into a skeleton, embodying “the most powerful wizard.” The game world evolves, with non-player characters (NPCs) starting to experience emotions. With no family, friends, or societal ties, the otherwise unremarkable young man, Momonga, sets out to conquer the new world that the game has turned into.
