Outlander

The narrative follows Claire Randall, a married nurse serving in 1945, who inexplicably finds herself transported to the year 1743. In this unfamiliar and perilous environment, her safety is at risk. Compelled to wed Jamie, a gallant and romantic young Scottish fighter, Claire embarks on a fervent romance that leaves her torn between two very different men and two lives that cannot be reconciled.
