Rock ‘n’ Roll might be eternal, but the future of the Sakuragoaka Girl’s High School Light Music Club is uncertain unless aspiring drummer Ritsu Tainaka can recruit three new members to fill the void left by the graduating seniors. Eager to keep the rhythm alive, Ritsu enlists the help of her friend Mio Akiyama on bass, and together they aim to persuade choir enthusiast Tsumugi Kotobuki to take up the keyboards. However, they still need a standout performer, ideally someone with a juke-box hero vibe and a starry-eyed vision. Instead, they encounter Yui Hirasawa, a girl searching for a club to join who has never touched a guitar before. Yet, when Yui finally strums a worn-out six-string, it feels right, and she quickly realizes she might have found her true calling. Because when four girls unite over a shared dream, the music is unstoppable, even if that dream is as ambitious as performing at the legendary Budokan. The journey will be long and full of twists, but with passion and inspiration, they could achieve anything in K-ON!
