Tahsin, the patriarch of the Korludag family, wields immense wealth and influence, commanding both fear and respect throughout the community. He exerts control over every corner and individual in the town. Tahsin has two children: his son, Korhan, who is a source of disappointment, and his beloved daughter, Sühan, who is both intelligent and beautiful. Korhan’s wife is desperately trying to conceive, but her efforts are in vain. Fearing that Sühan might produce an heir to the family fortune before she does, she plots to eliminate her sister-in-law.
