In a tranquil part of Seoul, Jung-won operates a modest photo studio, a legacy from his late father. This small establishment is where Jung-won spends his days managing demanding clients, enlarging photos of local heartthrobs for neighborhood children, and taking pictures for funeral altars. Although his life appears to be a series of serene moments, Jung-won is acutely aware that his time is limited. In his mid-30s, he has come to terms with his mortality, despite the quiet concern shown by his elderly father and younger sister. His routine continues unchanged until he encounters Darim, a staff member at the local district’s Traffic Control Division. She frequents the studio daily to develop photos of parking infractions.
