Our Day Will Come

Teenager Remy, who has red hair, faces bullying from his soccer teammates and often clashes with his younger sister and mother in their small apartment. Following an incident of domestic violence, he runs away from home. He is eventually found by Patrick, a disillusioned guidance counselor who also has red hair. Patrick views Remy’s moody defiance with a mix of empathy and contempt and chooses to help him become more resilient.
