Naples to New York

In the aftermath of World War II, set against the backdrop of a destitute Naples, two youngsters, Carmine and Celestina, strive to endure by supporting one another. One evening, they clandestinely board a vessel headed for New York, aiming to reunite with Celestina’s sister, who had moved to America years before. Alongside numerous other Italian immigrants in search of a fresh start, the children arrive in a foreign city, which, after facing various challenges, they eventually come to embrace as their new home.
