I Am Soldier

“I Am Soldier” centers on Mickey Tomlinson (played by Tom Hughes), a military cook who embarks on the perilous journey of attempting to join the Special Air Service (S.A.S.), the United Kingdom’s most esteemed Special Forces unit known for undertaking high-risk missions in the world’s most hazardous locations. Although Mickey’s role as a chef is well-known, he possesses a wealth of military experience that he keeps hidden from his fellow candidates. The grueling selection process pushes Mickey to his limits, testing his mental, physical, and emotional endurance. He faces brutal speed-marches across treacherous mountains, must evade capture during the ‘Escape and Evasion’ phase, and endures intense interrogation in the harrowing ‘Tactical Questioning’ stage. Despite these challenges, true validation comes only through combat. Many aspire to join the S.A.S., but only the most exceptional succeed.
