Crown and Anchor

When James Downey comes back to Newfoundland for his mother’s funeral, he is confronted with the unresolved family problems he believed he had escaped. Having transformed his struggles with an abusive father into a career as a police officer, James finds that his cousin Danny has spiraled into a life of drugs, crime, and violence due to his own childhood trauma. James is forced to face his painful history, determine his true identity, and address the situation with his cousin before it’s too late.
