Cremaster 1

CREMASTER 1 (1995) is a musical performance set on the blue artificial turf of Bronco Stadium in Boise, Idaho, the hometown of the creator, Barney. Overhead, two Goodyear Blimps hover, reminiscent of the airships that typically broadcast live sports events on TV. Each blimp is attended by four flight attendants. The only audible sound is gentle ambient music, evoking the hum of the blimps’ engines.
