Black Holes: The Edge of All We Know
Black holes represent the boundary of human understanding. To investigate this frontier, the Event Horizon Telescope connects observatories worldwide, creating a virtual telescope the size of Earth. This powerful tool enabled the team to capture the first-ever image of a black hole, which was unveiled to billions in April 2019. Concurrently, Hawking and his team tackled the black hole paradox, a central issue in theoretical physics, questioning whether predictive laws hold true within these immense distortions of space and time. Intertwined with these scientific endeavors is a philosophical and exploratory narrative, enhanced by expressive animation. “Edge” is a film that showcases the pursuit of science at its pinnacle, blending observation, theory, and philosophy to understand these enigmatic phenomena.
