In a small town in Northern China during the 21st century, the area is abundant with mineral wealth hidden within its vast mountain ranges. The owners of these resources amass significant wealth, elevating themselves to the upper echelons of society. Their newfound affluence transforms the community, yet it also spells disaster for the local mountain farmers. Oblivious to the looming threats and shadows, the townspeople remain unaware until the sudden disappearance of a young shepherd boy shakes them from their complacency.
